For the second consecutive year, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, with its luxury and expedition ships, has been recognized as the best fleet worldwide. The latest edition of the renowned Insight Guides Cruising & Cruise Ships has again awarded the highest five-star rating to all five ships of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises – the MS EUROPA, MS EUROPA 2, HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC spirit, and HANSEATIC inspiration.

The 40th edition of the Insight Guides Cruising & Cruise Ships assessed over 340 cruise ships worldwide this year. Independent testers evaluated each ship on various aspects. The MS EUROPA 2 was named the "best ship in the world" in the small ship category (251-750 passengers), followed by its sister ship, the MS EUROPA. Both ships maintain their leading position in the luxury segment, thanks to their outstanding service and luxurious amenities.

In the boutique ship category (50-250 guests), the expedition ships HANSEATIC nature, HANSEATIC spirit, and HANSEATIC inspiration from Hapag-Lloyd Cruises were also recognized with five stars.
