New Openings

Miami is getting two new hotspots:  

• Iberostar Waves Miami Beach It will open its doors on January 1, 2025, in the heart of South Beach, near the Miami Beach Convention Center. The hotel features 79 rooms, a rooftop pool, and a sun terrace.
• Iberostar Waves Berkeley Shore, which opened on December 18, 2024, offers 96 rooms and the same refined rooftop facilities. Located in the heart of South Beach, this hotel is a perfect base for city explorers.  

A tropical gem in Aruba:

• The brand-new Iberostar JOIA Aruba welcomed its first guests on December 18, 2024. This luxurious resort, located on the beautiful Eagle Beach, offers 240 rooms and three swimming pools for the ultimate vacation experience.  

Upcoming openings in 2025: 

• Iberostar Selection Es Trenc in Mallorca will open in April 2025. The hotel is located in the charming Colonia de Sant Jordi and offers renewed luxury and comfort.
• Iberostar Selection Mirage Hammamet welcomes guests in April 2025 in the popular resort town of Hammamet. This hotel features 271 rooms and is located near the marina.  

Various renovations in 2025

Iberostar Waves Creta Panorama will unveil a completely renewed look in May 2025. With a new Aquafun Park, 173 renovated bungalows, six swimming pools, and an extensive fitness center and spa, this hotel offers everything for an unforgettable stay. 

Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace will undergo renovations between 04/05/2025 and 01/08/2025 to offer guests an even more luxurious stay.  

The hotels Iberostar Selection Eolia Djerba, Waves Mehari Djerba, Ciudad Blanca and Pinos Park will also get a renovated look in 2025. Iberostar Waves Ciudad Blanca and Pinos Park will shorten the season and close earlier in September 2025 to open renovated doors back in 2026.
