From September 21 to November 10, visitors to PortAventura World can immerse themselves in a world of ghouls and thrills during the annual Halloween season. This year promises to be especially exciting with the introduction of a brand new passage, “La Leyenda del Rey Caníbal,” a chilling outdoor attraction set in the Angkor ride.

An adrenaline rush in the Angkor Temple

"La Leyenda del Rey Caníbal" takes visitors on a dangerous expedition to the cursed temple of Angkor. The journey is led by the fictional travel agency ‘Oriental Adventure Expeditions,’ which specializes in expeditions to the most dangerous and forbidden places. Accompanied by a guide, participants navigate through six different scenarios and must endure numerous trials to escape the gruesome Cannibal King and his army of monkeys. This new experience promises both fear and fun and will undoubtedly be a highlight for those seeking an adrenaline boost.

In addition to the traditional Halloween activities, PortAventura World is also introducing a new experience this year: “Hysteria in Boothill.” This attraction utilizes Mixed Reality (MR) technology, developed in collaboration with Spatial Voyagers. Visitors are immersed in a paranormal world where real and virtual elements blend together in real-time. In a fully themed space of 200 square meters, participants experience a unique mix of the Old West and supernatural phenomena.

Shows and attractions for the whole family 

PortAventura World also offers a wide range of shows and attractions for young and old alike. Music and dance lovers can enjoy “Halloween Factory” at the Imperial Grand Theatre of China. For a family adventure, there's “West Blood Frenzy,” set in the Wild West. Other highlights include “Horror en el Lago,” where the Mediterranean lake is transformed into a mysterious place, and “El Dia de los Muertos,” a tribute to the Mexican holiday. For the youngest visitors, there’s “Truco o Trato,” the first Halloween passage designed specifically for children. Evenings at PortAventura World conclude with an impressive “Halloween Parade,” filling the park with festive music and colorful light shows.
